Help Bristol Palestine Film Festival raise money for 2012, by donating unwanted bits and bobs for our September boot-sale… read on…

Bristol is well known for its green recycling culture, but across the city there are a number of initiatives that take on the mantra of the 3Rs: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.  Examples range from practical action projects such as the Bristol Bike Project (one of bristol’s leading centre’s for repairing and relocating unwanted bicycles), to being leaders in policy for creating a greener more sustainable future, see for example Forum for the Future.  From Foodcycle to Freecycle the list goes on…

This month volunteers from the Bristol Palestine Film Festival are organising a boot-sale to raise funds for the 2012 festival.  Taking place on the 30th September we are inviting the people of Bristol to contribute unwanted items, which can then be collected or dropped of in Easton for sale on the 30th September.  If you have anything that you would like to donate to the festival please contact us.

Whilst writing this short update, I took a moment to look into green energies in Palestine.  I leave you with this video on sustainable energy in Palestine from the most recent TEDX Ramallah.

For those of you wanting to donate your hard earned cash to help make the 2012 festival a reality – our crowdfunding campaign is still live and going strong.  Please support the campaign by following this link.
