White Rabbit, Red Rabbit

This January festival friend, Ken Loach and three other performers are appearing in the production White Rabbit, Red Rabbit at Bristol Old Vic. In this wild, utterly original play from Iran, writer Nassim Soleimanpour dissects the experience of a whole generation. Forbidden to travel, he turns his isolation to his own advantage with a play that requires no director and no set. Performers do not have access to the play before the performance, instead they are handed a sealed envelope and asked to read cold. You can find out more on Bristol Old Vic’s website.

“There’s an originality about the form of this play… and an urgency about its tone and style, that commands attention.”

The Scotsman

“A brave piece of experimental writing and thoroughly deserving of your attention.”
